ShipFest 2016

The Ship Inn has just played host the aptly named ‘ShipFest’ – a free music festival sponsored by MPK Lofts. Starting at around 3pm, the event was a great success with locals and newcomers alike thoroughly enjoying the day.

Six top bands were on show, with plenty of food and drink thrown into the mix too. Headliners NUTTYness – one of the UK’s leading Madness tribute acts – had the crowds on their feet well into the night.

The other acts on the bill were:

• Swampgrass
• The Vipers
• Bless’ed Roots
• Flowerpot
• The Man from Funkle

Situated on a picturesque hillside in the historic town of Keynsham, the traditional old pub also plays host to the Ship Inn Pétanque Club – a continental version of lawn bowls.

Although details of ‘ShipFest 2017’ have yet to be announced, MPK Lofts are more than happy to sponsor the event once more due to the success of this year’s event.
